WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
- Players will master basic skills before they are asked to master intermediate skills. The skills we learn now are the foundation of the player we hope to become.
- Players will have fun and enjoy their time. We believe in discipline through leadership. A good practice led by vigilant coaches creates a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere to learn. If the child has fun, they will want to come back and learn more.
- Efficiency. Efficiency. Efficiency. We are all busy. It doesn’t require hours upon hours of boring games, long practices and lost time to teach baseball. Small group practices, focused game activities and effective time means more time for your child to pursue other sports or non-athletic interests. We believe as a core principle that children should be well rounded and should not specialize at a young age. The only way to do this is to be effective with your time.
- Players will learn concepts of teamwork first and competition second. We teach children to value their teammates and their team first – because supporting each other creates the best environment for learning. We teach competition second, because without the team concept, an understanding of what competition in a team sport is will be missed.
