Aviators 8-10U Machine Pitch Baseball (Spring)

Are you a baseball player who played in another league and found the games to be slow and boring?  Tired of 2 at bats a game that end in a strike out or a walk? Tired of standing in the outfield waiting for a ball to come to you?  Tired of watching 15-20 walks per game?  Tired of a baseball game focused on one pitcher struggling to learn how to pitch?

Aviators 8-10 baseball may be the answer for you!

We will continue to rotate players on defense, so the same 3 kids don’t stand in the outfield the entire time. Games are machine pitch, high energy, with a ton of chances to hit and make plays in the field.  A typical game will have more than 100 at bats.  The math works out that with 20 players in the game, that would be a minimum of 5 at bats a game, per player.  In our typical games, less than 10% of players strike out – meaning that 90 balls for every 100 at bats are put in play – meaning real opportunity to play and improve.

Practices at Ultimate Sports will not be a part of the 8-10 baseball program for the fall.

The league will offer one outdoor practice a week and one outdoor game a week.  We will also offer additional weekday games.  In a 8 week season we expect that players could reach over 75 plate appearances.  With the ball in play all the time – it will be impossible not to get better and even harder to be bored!

New players will be provided with a new complete uniform with two jerseys, under armour pants, socks, a fitted hat and a belt.
